Comtoise clock with anchor escapement and pressed pendulum from around 1880. Both the decorative plate and pendulum are marked CN DEPOSE. CN stands for the initials of Carl Neufeld from Iserlohn/Westphalia, who, after 1870, supplied embossed brass pendulums and decorative plates to the manufacturers in Morez. The four fastening holes of the decorative plate are already pre-punched.
Half-hour and full-hour strike on bell with repetition of the full hour strike. Extremely rare striking mechanism, marked BREVETE J.-M. S.G.D.G. The movement is completely positioned in front of the striking mechanism plate (similar to the construction of clock No. 331 CUM and clocks No. 205 CUM and 332 CUM).
