Comtoise clock with moon phase display from around 1880/1890.
The disk features four full moon symbols. The disk rotates continuously (not switched as usual) thanks to a gear mechanism involving several wheels. Only after many years is it necessary to rearrange the wheels due to the accumulated deviation by then.

Anchor escapement, strike on bell with repetition.
