9-inch Comtoise clock movement with anchor escapement and pressed pendulum from around 1880/90. Half-hour and full-hour strike on a bell with repetition. Brass-embossed decorative plate and pendulum featuring flowers, grapes, and volutes, both marked: CN DEPOSE (see detailed photo). Remnants of the original paintwork.
CN stands for Carl Neufeld, who manufactured embossed decorative plates in Iserlohn and, after 1871, also supplied them to France.
