No. 96 CUM
10-inch Comtoise clock with a pressed pendulum, anchor escapement, and half-hour and full-hour strike on a bell with repetition, from around or after 1883.
Decorative plate marked: L.P. 1883. The large star cartouche on the pressed pendulum is also marked LP (see detail photos). Leon Paget in Morez was certainly the most important manufacturer of embossed brass decorative plates and pendulums.
The fineness of the embossed structure makes it easy to recognize the originality of these parts, as today’s reproduction parts are much flatter and coarser in design.
The dial bears two signatures: PÈCHERAT - CAILLAT à Moulins, indicating the two partners of a sales company.

Movement dimensions: 470 x 360 x 180 (including gong, H x W x D)
