9-inch Comtoise clock with anchor escapement and lyre pendulum from around 1850. Strike on bell with bow rake. Typical triangular form of the large lever system, which was used for only about 15 years, from the late 1830s to the early 1850s. Half-hour and full-hour strike on bell with repetition.

Enamel dial signed: Charbonnier-Thomas à Sancoins. This signature is frequently found on clocks of this period, as the names Charbonnier and Thomas refer to partners in a company that had the dials of the clocks they sold signed accordingly.
