Comtoise clock from the 1850s, with a wind catcher that is regulated by the centrifugal force of two small weights (instead of 2 or 4 wings) to ensure the regular running of the striking mechanism. The mounted decorative plate is approx. 10 years older than the movement and is therefore not original to the clock. Half and full hour strike on bell with repetition on the hour. Enamel dial with Roman numerals, sun hands from the 1850s.
