9-inch Comtoise clock with verge escapement and folded pendulum, featuring a two-part embossed decorative plate with a sun face/ribbon above a flower bowl, framed by acanthus leaves and large grape clusters on the left and right. Decorative corners include radially arranged small squares with 4 dots each and a central 6-petal flower. Half-hour and full-hour strike on a bell with hour strike repetition. Sun-shaped hand. Enamel dial signed: Cretin à Paray, around 1840.
