9-inch Comtoise clock with verge escapement and folded pendulum from around 1845. Half-hour and full-hour strike on a bell with repetition of the full-hour strike, triggered by spring pressure. Alarm mechanism. Solid cast brass bezel with dot pattern and chiseled star-shaped hands. Enamel dial signed: Victor Cochet à Morez.
