Nr. 537 CUM
10-inch Comtoise month clock with verge escapement and folded pendulum, dating to around 1845. The decorative plate is composed of three parts but assembled from pieces of two different decorative plate models. Since no dedicated 10-inch embossing tool with a lower extension was made for the 9-inch-wide lute player motif, the lower approximately 3 cm edge of a 10-inch-wide flute player motif was trimmed and then mounted on this month clock.
