9-inch Comtoise clock with verge escapement and folded pendulum. Brass-embossed two-part decorative plate featuring a palm leaf on a pedestal flanked by two flickering dragons. Half-hour and full-hour strike on a bell with repetition. Enamel dial with arcaded minute markings (à la Dauphine) and quarter-hour indications – small numerals. Polychrome floral painting frames the place name and the year.
