Maxi Comtoise clock with 4 bells from the period of the 1st Republic 1795/1799, upper cast clasp with crowning flower bowl and lower cast clasp ( beard ) with volutes, rocailles, C-arches and grapevines. Cable movement with verge escapement and lead pendulum, pendulum on the front. 4/4 strike on 3 bells and full hour strike with repetition after 2 minutes on bell. Cambered enamel dial with Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for 5 minutes.
