No. 524 CUM 9-inch Comtoise clock with verge escapement and folded pendulum from around 1825, in which the division of the decorative plate was not made at III and IX, but at the beading. The dial bezel with all four corners was stamped in one piece. Two embossing tools were therefore necessary compared to other contemporary models, which only required one embossing tool, as the upper corners were cut off from the second embossed part and then mounted as lower corners. The 4 very large, sculpted fleurons on the corners are striking. The ornamental roof is a model that already existed between 1810 and 1820. Any contemporary ornamental roof could therefore be combined with the one-piece bezel. Diameter of dial: 210 Cage dimensions: 253 x 243 x 140 HxWxD / Movement dimensions: 378 x 246 x 160 HxWxD. Chimney 57 Pendulum length: approx. 1210 ( all dimensions in mm ).
