Embossed rare ornamental arched plate by Claude Paget with family depiction. 'LE LEVER DE BÉBÉ' ( acceptance of the baby into the family ) and FAB FR CP ( FABRICATION FRANCAISE CLAUDE PAGET ). After the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71, many French manufacturers responded to the German products that were now increasingly found in France by marking their 'French' production.
