9-inch Comtoise clock with verge escapement and folded pendulum from around 1840/45, half-hour and full-hour striking on a bell with repetition, striking mechanism activated by spring pressure, two-piece embossed brass decorative plate with oak leaves and laurel. Each corner of the dial features a lyre surrounded by laurel. Star-shaped hands with ornate surface.
