Comtoise clock from the time of Louis XVI around 1785/90 with moon phase display ( see detailed photo of the moon disk ) and date display, verge escapement and lead pendulum, half hour strike en passant, full hour strike on bell with repeater, revolving gallery made of sheet brass, behind which a 12 cm tall soldier of the king ( remnants of the old painting are still present on the wooden figure ) moves back and forth in time with the clock ( see detailed photo ).
