The company BALDY FILS from SALVIAC (Lot), which refers to itself as a clock manufacturer, participated in an agricultural exhibition in Cahors in 1865 and received an honorable mention for the clocks they exhibited (MENTION HONORABLE).
It is unclear from the depicted medals whether this recognition was awarded for their own clocks or for third-party products, such as Comtoise clocks from the Jura.
