Comtoise clock with Petite Sonnerie, meaning a 3/4 strike on 3 bells with repetition of the hour strike, from the Louis Philippe era, around 1840. Features verge escapement, date display, a two-part embossed brass decorative plate with Napoleon motif, eagles, cannons, drums, and flags. Five-pointed engraved star hands, which first appeared with the Napoleon motif in 1839.
