Eine Konstruktion, die wahrscheinlich ähnlich wie bei den Schwarzwälder Uhren mittels eines Frauenhaares funktionierte. Bei Luftfeuchtigskeitsschwankungen ändert das Frauenhaar seine Länge und lässt bei schönem Wetter die Frau und  bei schlechtem Wetter den  Mann mit dem Regenschirm ( siehe Detailfoto ) erscheinen. 1890年から1900年頃の9インチComtoiseクロック。アンカー脱進機と自動化されたプレス加工振り子を備え、古い塗装の痕跡が残っています。下部には天気小屋があり、振り子の上部には温度計（詳細写真参照）が設置されています。この仕組みは、おそらく黒い森の時計と同様に、人間の髪の毛を使用して作動します。湿度の変化により髪の毛の長さが変わり、晴天時には女性が、悪天候時には傘を持った男性が現れる仕組みです（詳細写真参照）。半時間と正時にゴングで音が鳴り、繰り返し機能を備えています。エナメル文字盤には「JOURDAIN Pierre à Cerdon」の署名があり、場所名を囲む形で多色の花模様が描かれています。
